Sunday, Nov 7 was a balmy fall day with the temperature topping 50
degrees. It was a chance for a kayak trip around the lake that
turned into a memorable outing.
Three tundra swans landed on our lake to spend an
interlude on their migration journey. What a treat to see these
birds on the lake!
And if that was not enough. around the next bend
six otters jumped off one dock, swan across the bay, and checked out
another dock. They were curious but cautious and headed out into
the main lake to continue their own adventure. |
