The meeting was called to order by President Jeff Burke. 

       The following board members were also in attendance:  Jill Wilm, Paul Specht, Mike Czarny,
       Ronie Jacobsen, Steve Smithson and Tom Olson. 

                 Absent were Jorja Burke and George Kupfer.  Barbara Olson was also in attendance.

                 Minutes of the prior board meeting were read and unanimously approved with a motion by Jill, 2^nd by Steve.

 Treasurer’s Report by Paul: 

                To date, 16 residents have paid their annual dues for membership in VVLA.

                The VVLA has paid the fee for membership during 2010 with the Wisconsin Lakes Association.

                Paul sent in the paperwork necessary for the VVLA to maintain its 501c3 status.

                There were no unusual expenses.

                 A motion by Steve, 2^nd by Tom to approve the Treasurer’s report was unanimously passed.

 Old Business:

                Aquatic Management Plan – Mike will talk with Otto Novak, PI Town Lakes Committee, re having a

                 preliminary conversation with Bonestroo.

 New Business:

                Agenda for the July 5, 2010 meeting was discussed.

                Jill reported that a letter would be sent to VVLA members asking for volunteers to work at the boat landing

                during the Walleye Tournament.

       In addition to boat inspections and educating lake users about the Clean Boats/Clean Waters program,

       volunteers would assist the PI Chamber by registering walleyes caught/released during the tournament.

 Next Meetings:

                June 12^th – Board Meeting @ Paul Specht’s

                July 5^th – Annual Meeting 10:00am @ PI Community Center, Cook-Out to Follow

                                  Nick Williams, Chair of the PI Town Lakes Committee will speak.

                  As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
