Native and Invasive Lake Plants Workshop

This is your chance to view and educated yourself more about the plants that grow in and near the shore of Van Vliet Lake.  Experts from the North Lakeland Discovery Center will be conducting a 2-hour workshop on Friday, August 5th on water at Van Vliet Lake.

The workshop will be 2 hours in length, and not only might you get more informed on our lake environment, but you’ll get a great pontoon boat ride as an extra benefit!

The workshop will begin at the Van Vliet Lake boat launch/landing promptly at 2 PM. The class will conclude at 4PM.  Young adults are certainly welcome, and you are encouraged to sign up through the “questions link” at the bottom of this page.

Take advantage of this great opportunity!
