As a continuation of the fisheries study conducted on
our lake chain last year, DNR technicians conducted mark-recapture
studies in late May to estimate the musky population. About 150
muskies were marked in the chain last year and the percentage of
recaptured fish is used to estimate the adult population. Results
from last year's study should be available this summer.
